Hello my dear friends,
I hope you are all well and that you all enjoyed Spring, Summer and the Autumn Equinox, wherever you are!
Here life is like the tide. In and out. Gentle rolling waves. Storms. Winds. Then deep, blue and calm again. My thoughts and ideas are like seagulls. Sometimes they blend in the scenery, with just a few passing comments. Sometimes they shout too loud or steal my chips.
In this lifetime, I learned to knit with my gran when I was a little girl. I knitted a blanket for my beloved teddy Boulgoum. Then life happened, and I didn’t touch knitting needles until 20 years later, when my son was about 1 and half year old (late 2009).

My Etsy Shop had a make over and has now re-opened. Come and visit if you have a second!
The weather is getting warmer. The days are slowly but surely getting longer. The sun has been out for the last couple of days… All I have to say is : Hooray!
On the Knitting Front:
My diary 2017 is my new art journal – which is good as this year’s diary has a BIG page for each day…
Yesterday I took Boy to my Local Yarn Store, so he could carefully choose the yarn he liked best for me to knit him his very own hat, designed with his own requirements.
It had to be blue, because blue has always been his favourite colour… with a dash of red to stay in the Christmas Spirit…
Early post today, as I’m off to the Christmas Fair. I didn’t get much sleep as yesterday was very busy. So busy that i couldn’t even sleep at the end of it.
I spent the day finishing a few things for the fair, then headed off to set up my stall and then drove to Brighton to See Nigel Kennedy plays Jimi Hendrix at the Dome.
