I knitted a new doll last week and I went on an explorative journey.

I could write about every step of the process, but I feel like that would probably be boring. I found it very therapeutic, in a self-reflective way.

Autumn Tales

Autumn is slowly drawing to a close, with the winter solstice around the corner.

Our walks are getting more wet and muddy. The sky displays gorgeous and ever changing artwork reflecting the light of the sun, hiding somewhere behind the clouds…

Hello Friends!

I hope you are well and that this summer is bringing you Joy, Peace, and Health.

In this cyber age we are living in, we are liking, commenting and expressing our range of feelings via emoji. We are staring at our phones everywhere we go. Nowadays it’s as if time is speeding up. So many of us set ourselves the target of achieving an entire weeks worth of goals in a single day, often in an attempt to renew our sense of self-worth and boost our self-esteem, yet we often end up feeling like a failure for not having managed even a fraction of it.

I think a lot of people obsess with the weather when they are conversing. I have noticed that writers seem to be obsessed with time.

Here we are, at the end of May.

Boy turned 10 earlier on this month. I still dont understand where that time went…

On adventures…

Sometimes all it takes is walking through your front door with no plans and you end up on an adventure…

As I took Boy out in town earlier on this afternoon, I thought we were going to watch a scout parade and a puppet dragon. We quickly realised that I got the date wrong as we landed in the middle of Bus Day, amongst a fleet of vintage buses taking people to random places far and wide for free all afternoon. So we got on random old buses, without having any clue where they were taking us… sometimes the driver would even change route mid way!
