Lama apricots

Buddhism, My Poems, writing
This is...
a flashback,
slice of a previous life.
from a time way back
when I was around 10
sharing apricots
with dear lama Purtse.
‘lama apricots’
that’s how we called him.
he practiced his whole life
with the same certainty
alone or with plenty,
he was always there,
diligently
dedicating his life
to the three sacred jewels:
the Buddha, Dharma, Sangha.
I remember him fondly:
apricots, dharma and consistency.

Lama Purdse and 10 years old me in Dhagpo Kagyu Long, in France.

xxx,

Noémie.
