“Properly practiced, knitting soothes the troubled spirit, and it doesn’t hurt the untroubled spirit either.”
— ELIZABETH ZIMMERMAN
I have spent the whole week finishing projects…
I have knitted my dog on a mitten!
… tying up loose ends as they say…
Or maybe I should say weaving up loose ends?
Mama Owl is finished, she is off to the library tomorrow. She and the bravest birds in my flock of knitted birds will take over East Grinstead Library for a month – in true Guerilla Knitting style – to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of our local Knitting Group, Knitter Natter. I’m tempted to bring the Moose Head too… although he is quite big.
As you can see, Mama Owl has been hanging out with the Moany Gnomey Crew at the top of the book shelve this week…
The gnomes are rather excited to watch more gnomes appear on these mittens…
But there is only so much gnome excitement one can have for a day…
So I chose a hedgehog for my new labels…
:)
I hope you all had a lovely week, and that the weekend has plenty of sunshine and laughter in store for everyone!
Noémie.
