Boy made outfits for these two lucky devils… Pint Beastie has put his pint down for now, as he has been busy doing Super Hero work. It’s more rewarding than pint work, so he says… ;) and the Kraken was about to film his first scene in Boy’s Big Pirate Movie… but now he looks too smart to be scary…..
In the mean time I made an eyepatch for Little Bob, who had an unfortunate encounter with the Moonstruck Pup…
This owl doesn’t have any plans yet…
I made her last week, on the back of my Etsy shop launch :)
A while back I finished Boy’s mittens…
I still haven’t blocked them… But he has been wearing them a lot, while out and about playing in the woods… (hence the splat of mud on it).
I am sure you have all come across Grumpy Cat before… Now meet Scornful Cat…
Scornful Cat is way too cool for my new pair of socks. They are completely unworthy of his attention…
Well, I like them… I love the way they splash a rainbow of bright colours on my feet…
It’s the first pair I have ever made for myself – but now that they are finished I’m actually thinking that I might give them to a friend…
I made my very first pair of socks last summer… I was very pleased, as ever since I started knitting back in 2009, my dream was to be able to knit socks. People kept telling me that it was too fiddly and that knitting jumpers and cardigans was much easier… so that’s what I did… until last summer.
A friend asked me yesterday as she was watching me knitting yet another sock, how many pairs of socks have I knitted so far. She found it funny when I told her I was very proud of my achievement when I knitted my first sock as it felt like a proper knitting milestone. When I said it was my dream to be able to do it and now I can’t stop knitting them, she found it hilarious.
Sadly some people may never get to know the satisfaction one feels after knitting a pair of socks…
I finished one sock for Boy today. It was surprisingly very quick to knit… (meet my new 3mm double pointed needles ;)
Oh and I also made a few paintings last week… the only one worth sharing, I think, is this one…
Boy and Paul made a few pirate videos together…
Their Big Production (featuring my hand-knitted Kraken) is half way through being filmed.
Then they made this one :
And then Boy made this one all on his own (I really love how he made the black ragged sails on the ghost pirate ship… :)
:) To Be Continued!
Great job on the videos! I’m impressed. I love your rainbow socks too.
Thank you very much Laura :)
PS My kids watched the videos too and really enjoyed them.
:) I told him, he is very pleased that they like it :)
He made that one a while ago… I think your kids may like it too :D
Awesome videos!!!!!! Your socks are pretty awesome too!! 😄
Thank you very much :)
Very clever!! :) love the socks too :)
IMPRESSIVE <3
Thanks :)
Yarrrrrrr! That’s some great swashbuckling action to start my day with! Plus some excellent socks, owls and Beastie costumes 😀 Knitting socks IS really satisfying… I actually still have my first attempt at a sock proudly stored away somewhere!
