“You must not blame me if I do talk to the clouds.” ~ Henry David Thoreau
I love clouds. All of them. Altocumulus, Cumulus, Cumulonimbus, Stratocumulus…
I love staring at them and I am always amazed by their beauty. I have tried so many times – unsuccessfully – to paint them with my watercolours.
To me, the sky is like a big blank canvas and the clouds are constantly reshaping themselves to create and recreate the most stunning artwork within it, playing with the sun’s light, especially at dawn or dusk…
“The sky is the daily bread of the eyes.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
What can I do? I’m just a girl with her head in the clouds…
“Excuse me, while I Kiss the sky”~ Jimi Hendrix.
I firmly believe that if ever one day I could get my hands on a good chunk from a Cumulonimbus, it would feel… just like that:
Pure bliss scenario: Having my head in the clouds and my hands in the wool…
